Pentegraph Ensemble

The Walls of Pentegraph

The linear performances produced by the extension of the flattening of Artefacts into a continuous two-dimensional interlinking; like a wall. Unless stated otherwise, the walls are Exwhy.

The Walls are both an extension of Dragon Flies Eastward, and a constricting into a different pattern that is necessitated by the way that the Orb unravels. This allows for some leeway during the praxis resulting in the distortion from 3D to 2D, giving a more free-form application of an Ensemble during its transition from its normal dimension.

The translation from Orb to Wall is a bit like a goldfish bowl effect, moving and distorting the image of the connected Penters.

The Wall within the Orb

Dragon Wall

The unfolding of the Pentegraph Orb into an infinite linear wall of connected circles, upon which the Artefacts and Ensemble of Pentegraph are performed, predominantly using Dragonfly techniques. The walls are Exwhy unless stated otherwise.

Dragon Wall Eastward

The Dragon Flies Eastward but done along a wall, with the orb flattening itself as the pattern progresses. The feet therefore move sideways, and always to the right, to accomodate the movement.

The Whyzed Wall

The Dragon wall but done advancing forwards with the arms grasping and pushing in their Whyzed way. The Dragon Flies Eastward along the wall whilst keeping the arms to the left and stepping forward appropriately. At the end of the wall a normal Dragon Flies Eastward within the orb reverses the direction of travel back along the route first travelled. This creates an elongated circus or can be used to turn any corner and go anywhere to continue the exercise, all the while keeping the arms movements to the left side of the body.

The Ensemble comprises of slow and fast movements with sudden shifts forward comensurate with the arm techniques.

The Zedex Dragonwall

Perhaps better called the Zedex Dragonfloor, this space exploring method moving around with the floor being loosely tiled Dragonfly Artefacts.
