Zedexwhyzed

I find the Zedexwhyzed the easiest of the three to perform because once you can muster an eidetic image of the pentagram, you effectively have a template in front of you, and all you have to do is trace it.

The hand that is doing the tracing never leaves the lines of the pentagram from the viewpoint of your eye. This allows accurate tracing in 2 dimensions, while the 3rd (depth) is approximated. If performed in VR, the whole thing can be seen.

The movement can be performed in its parts as a martial technique, using the circling action to entrap, block and/or strike. The 3 major aspects (Exwyzedex, Whyzedexwhy and Zedexwhyzed), their orientation of downward and upward pointing (Katabasis and Anabasis respectively), the Hemaster configurations using 1, 2, 3 or 4 part circles, both forwards and backwards, means there are so many techniques within this method, that it is probably the case that just about any martial technique from any system or style known to man, can be found and mapped within the Aster. It is the most ubiquitous movement and possibly the reason for why the pentagram has had such an elevated status through our history.

The ubiquity of the geometry in dissecting and carving out 3D space with this Pentegraph Artefact, lends credibility to why the pentagram has been such a significant device in occult practices, and why its hidden transmission has made its true purpose become lost over the centuries.

Whyzedexwhy

The Whyzedexwhy is literally creating a pentagram around you for protection. Other than martially, the protection comes from doing the ultimate shoulder exercise, and is a movement of suitable gravitas to be used for mental entrainment strengthening. The pentagram is on the floor for this one.
The Esokirkos is also known as the Aster, and so the Inner Circle, when combined with Megak, is wishing upon a star., where the joint is exercised in all directions.

Done with a club in one or both hands, I have found that it is obviously an ancient martial/warfare technique. Seriously, with a heavy mace in each hand performing the Olikos Astergate with gusto, it is insane! It would have been just one technique to have to learn, albeit a difficult one, and you have an infinitely repeating formidable defence/attack. This would be a good reason for the pentagram to be important within society while at the same time being kept secret. With this practice having fallen into disuse for the last few hundred years (or even thousands), all that would remain is an enigmatic pentagram etched upon the floor.

Drawing a pentagram around you for protection, is not some silly words or associations — as the Olikos Astergate done at speed with full engrossment and vigour will confirm. It produces all the power you will need, all the protection desired. It makes you become the true manifestation of the magick and what it really means.

Used as a magick technique, it can be used for inducing some neurological conditioning associated with an affirmation or desire. This purpose is arcane and I have reincarnational type memories of this technique being used for millennia. I believe it is at the heart of the original pentagram based magick.

Exwhyzedex

I find this the most difficult of the three to perform because the pentagram template is to the side of you and so you have no eidetic image to follow. There is a pattern you can follow however, if you can work it out from the above animation.

This is the reversing mechanism for an Exwhykirkos circling in front of you.
