The Twilight Zone

The Twilight Zone
Megak symbol

The performance of the Exwhykirkos in the dark with luminous fingers or Rhabdos, produces the same visual experience that I had during a hypnopompic episode which showed two glowing balls rotating around each other. I elucidate this phenomenon in my hypothesis that it is the origin of the Yin Yang symbol.

While I  was investigating this hypnopompic phenomenon of two perfect rotating glowing balls in a vision as I lay awake in bed, I noticed that there was a blue watery area in the centre, and I went towards it to go into it by strongly focusing into it, and as I did so I entered into a lucid dream (technically an out of body experience because I wasn't dreaming prior to it and was fully awake). Suddenly I was walking down a road, and instantly recognised that it was the same as being in a lucid dream.  The road was with hedges on either side and as I walked down the road I was thinking what I should do, as lucid dreams are always opportunities to discover secret stuff or play in, and here I was inside an ultra-realistic virtual world for me to explore and marvel at.

There was a house on the left side which I walked past, but instead of carrying on walking I initiated free will and chose to investigate the house, and clambered up the bank and approached the house from the rear. There was instead of the house a derelict building, little more than the foundations and I knew that I had buried something there—eons before. I started to dig, but I was losing lucidity and came out of the lucid dream back to the rotating balls of light, which were now rotating a lot slower.

Such pseudo-hallucinations as these balls of light are called phosphene imagery and I'm sure everybody has them fairly frequently, but they are normally hidden from conscious awareness. When I first saw them, a part of me was saying "don't look", that it wasn't important, and to just ignore it, and I think that it happens a lot, but is usually filtered out. It doesn't fit within the normal waking matrix of experience, and without any pegs to hang it on, it is sifted out from our awareness.  Our whole experience is edited by the mundane mechanism of social expectation. There is an entire world of extraordinary extrasensory phenomena that is parallel to what we call real, and is happening all the time but we just ignore it. I think it is much more interesting than the real thing! From using neural feedback devices, I know that my brain has a natural tendency to the alpha/theta boundary of neural activity (about 8hz), and it is in this state that dream realm experiences exist; it is just about becoming conscious of them, becoming aware of the non-normal. I guess I'm just a dreamer.

Rather than it being two objects rotating individually, it is I think a field or layer that is rotating, and maybe the two balls have something to do with the two eyes which have become synchronized, I don't know. I can detect the rotation of this field with my eyes closed normally and witness a rotating bar, which is very fuzzy and indistinct, but just about decipherable. Presently, as I write this and close my eyes, it is rotating clockwise, but it was rotating anti-clockwise during the hypnopompic episode. The period of rotation during normal waking is very slow at around 30 seconds for one revolution, and much faster at about one or two revolutions per second when experienced hypnopompically. This would mean there is an inverse relationship between brain frequencies and the vision. The slower theta brainwaves produce a faster rotation, and the more awake alpha frequencies slow it down.

10 years further on, and my development of Pentegraph and Megak has resulted in the performing of this vision which I call the Exwhykirkos, using luminous objects such as my hands, fingers or sticks in the dark. Whether the vision was of the future, or it has been a subconscious influence to produce what I now do, I think are just two stories of the same path.
