Empirical Journey

I have been driven by a desire since my earliest years to understand what this existence is. For me this understanding needs to be first hand, not somebody else's picture or words, but my own direct access to it; first hand self-realization of the universe; my actual experience and conceptualization. It is this path that fulfils the meaning of the word understanding: under where I now stand; all that has gone into the making of the concepts I now possess. Experience — out of going through. Empirical.

I wanted to just let the universe do its thing without the interference of the social mechanism that allows this manifestation of me to be. I wanted to allow myself to be untrammelled, without interference, and see what it will do. Knowing what is interference and what is natural is the story of the society and the divine. I Just want to let the universe do its thing without restriction, impedance, or the resistance of the society, which although it has built itself for the purpose of helping its constituents reach this stage, will subsume all individuals into its machinations if allowed to. I wanted to just let the universe be; let the universe be me.

I have started again from scratch, trusting in my core self and abandoning mere words for repeating that are overlaid and pretended as a person's understanding. It is not enough to just repeat what someone else has said; I think that is just pretending to know. There is no one else who has any more access to the universe, or who is any more of a human being than any other. No part of the universe is any more a part than any other. The core knowledge within each of us, is the highest knowledge of all.

My goal as a philosopher is to build a concept from my own experience which produces the most efficient and accurate description of life as I am experiencing it. It is not reliant upon other philosopher’s works to build upon; it is only reliant upon the information gained from my own experience, because it is my own concept from my own experience for my own life which it is being used for. Ultimately my philosophy is purely for me, but if I can share it with just one other it will be doubly worth it.

What makes a good philosopher is his unwillingness to accept the concepts that have been formulated through his life on an ad hoc basis, most of which are possibly resting upon false facts or poorly constructed interpretations. A philosopher has to root out all shaky ground that his concepts have been formed upon. He needs to start again from scratch, abandon his beliefs, and understand his life first hand rather than using other people’s ideas.

This is one subject where it is best not to stand upon the teetering and tottering pyramid of the shoulders of others. You get a much better view from the pure you. We each are consciousness looking out from a different window. All views are valid.

Truth

I’ve been searching for the truth, and know that the truth only exists within the examining of my own experience. What is truth? Truth can only be what the universe actually is, and we can only tell a story of this. The story which works the best will be the closest we can get to truth, but we will never really know because the truth will only ever be what it is to humans; it is to our experience that the truth is relative to. It is our language which says it and creates it. It doesn’t go any further than that. Any understanding is ultimately just words. It’s all a bit hollow really. The deeper you go the less it all really matters.

If you believe in something you haven't got a hope of knowing the truth. Your conscious awareness will only be given the bits that conform to your belief from your pre-conscious processes, which will be busy sifting everything to fit your perception of reality. How you believe is how it will be for you. This is how you create your own reality.

There is no other moment than the present moment, and therefore the present moment is always the starting point — no matter how far along the journey you are. Every other moment is a concept of the future or a memory of the past. It is from the present moment only that we can start our search for the truth, and it is only ourselves which we can use to access that truth.

Of course, empirical understanding is of no consequence to science — because it is unverifiable — but it is the only truth to me, and my life is all about me. Society will brainwash you into thinking it is all about everyone else, but then society would do that wouldn't it? That's what it's for. Everything is ultimately to its own interests.

Memory is fraught with the danger of being substituted by imagination — after all they are practically the same thing. When I was asked to remember something as a child, I couldn't understand what was meant. I could imagine something that had happened, and I was told that that was memory; but the actuality of remembering was exactly the same as imagining, which is now borne out by neural imaging techniques to actually be the case. I don't think you can tell the difference. Is the act of conscious memory in actuality just the guidance of imagination? Isn't it all just imagination ultimately anyway?

When every assumption and story we make of our lives and of others are but guesses heaped upon one another, and our authenticity is but relative to our dance with each other, where is the truth in all of it? It has to be the noblest path to take to try and find out, and just as in meditation when the mind is focussed upon just one thing to minimize its activity, I have reduced my contact with others to minimize the interference of ego.

When you have sustained absence of company, you avoid the conditional responses that create a particular type of neurological imprint, and so develop a different neurological default response that will not happen otherwise.

A natural way allows natural desires; natural strengthening, growing, a natural development. The natural way follows God. Divine guidance following natural desires.  To be unrestricted in this pursuit is a holy path, following a strategy that lets the pure realization of the universe manifest itself.

If you have complete freedom, then you will naturally be led to do the things that are necessary along your path. You will not need all the schedules, timetables, regime/method etc; that is only for working through all the distractions which interaction with society brings. With enough freedom you are naturally guided; divinely guided. My natural guidance has led me to produce Pentegraph, Megâk, One Turning, Self Form and my Art.

If you have a belief system then your mind will be filtering everything to fit into this concept, ignoring things which do not agree and emphasising the things that do, and creating an ego which would rather die than admit it is wrong. Even with perfect humility you will be interpreting everything relative to your framework of belief. If your belief system has been fed to you by your society, it is almost certainly wrong. Take a good look at your society if you think otherwise.

The only place where you can access the truth without the society polluting it, is in the memories of the first few years of your life. By recognising that this was the only place where you weren't having to rely upon the opinions of someone else, I opened a portal to these memories and the universe laid itself open to my inspection, which is its want. 

There isn't anything other than your own mental concepts reacting to experiences ultimately derived from sensory information. The purity of these concepts — unsullied by the faulty thoughts of others — is my philosophers stone. 

It is the unadulterated beginnings that are key to the true story.
