The Mirrors of Megâk
The mapping of the Penters onto the human body as described in Configuration A in the Somatic Maps of Megâk, results in there being three Mirrors and two Gates.
The way the Penters daisy-chain themselves together produces 3 places where a single circle becomes prominent in the mid-line down the body. These central circles (Mesokirkos), are situated between the two Asters which exists in each of the Mirrors. The lower one of these corresponds to the lower field of the Dantien.
The Penters also produce two Gates (four if you count the Nadir and Zenith Penters wrapping over the top and bottom). Each Mirror's Mesokirkos is the intersection between two Pentegraph Orbs, with the two Gates joined by the Middle Mirror, while the Upper Mirror connects an Orb (producing the Zenith Gate), and the Lower Mirror connects to another Orb and the Nadir Gate. The three Mirrors are the intimation for the four Somatic Pentegraph Orbs, and their three places of intersection equivalate to the three fields of the Dantien (Santien).
Influenced by the gravity of their confining Asters either side of it, the Mesokirkos of each Mirror has the import of focus due to the special position conferred upon it, and herein we can assign a purpose to them.

The ORB within the Mirrors
The 3 Mesokirkoi of the Three Mirrors are attributed to ORB — Observe, Release, Believe. This is an incantation.
The lower Mesokirkos is the beginning of it, the place you sing and speak powerfully from, the 'O' and start of the ORB — Observe.
The middle Mesokirkos can be associated with the heart and resonates with the 'R' — Release the love.
The upper Mesokirkos, wherein the mouth makes the 'B' which stops the sound and ends the ORB — just be love.

The Lower Mirror
The Mesokirkos of this Mirror is located at the hara or lower Dantien between the Sacral Aster below it and the Omphalos Aster centred upon the navel, above it. This circle is the observer of the Mirror, the start of ORBIT and the start of the ORB within the Mirrors. The place to consider. Everything aligns from here.
Focus, concentrate and be aware of what you are doing. Gain an over view of the magick that is being initiated, centring oneself and using the over mind and the stillness of the Observer.
Beneath the Observer lies the Aster of sacred alignment, initiating the necessary composing of oneself and rooting to stabilise the physical and mental being. Above the Observer lies the Aster of the First Self, centred upon the original opening of the navel and the root of yourself as an avatar on this world: the mute angel of God. Between the two is the Mesokirkos of the Lower Mirror and the area for Observation. This is the place where we can start from. A clear reflection of your surroundings, like the still water of a lake unperturbed by events, like a mirror that reflects but does not absorb. Absolute centre of being, aligned with the true way, a non-interrupting of the divine by the ego. This ego-less centre floating in the centre of the body is the locus of observing, without the mind casting judgements and their shadows. The over-mind in the underbelly. The uncritical observer, balanced and centred. The seat of the sorcerer.
The area below the navel rises as the diaphragm pushes the intestines away as we breathe in, producing a sensation upon which we can focus during our breathing. This breathing awareness leads to the enteroception of relaxation within the body and the release from the past and the tensions that have derived from it.
With the word Sorcery meaning 'to line up' and therefore also to align, so it is the Mesokirkos of the Lower Mirror that starts the alignment of the Asters which join the 3 Mirrors together to produce your fortune.

The Middle Mirror
The Mesokirkos of this Mirror is the location where the heart chakra is most strongly felt during its vibrating. It is located between the Thoracic Aster above it and the Solar Plexus Aster below it. It is therefore in the place which conjoins the attributes of these two Asters.
Enteroceptively, this is where we sense the heart beating and when linked to the sensation of breathing from the other two Mirrors, we have a meditational method. By counting the heart beats as you breath in and then breathing out to the same number of counts, a concentration upon the yoking of the breath and the heart produces a meditation. Of course, the counting is only an initial support until it becomes unnecessary and the syncopation is automatic.

This Mesokirkos is the 'R' in the ORB within the Mirrors, and evocative of the Rrr's that sound when the sound of 'Haa' is made. Other than the release of love that occurs with this, the 'R' could also stand for relief and be the love returned to after true observation.

The Upper Mirror
The Mesokirkos is located at the atlas, where the cervical spine attaches to the skull. This is below the Cephalic Aster which is centred upon the pineal gland, and above the Cervical Aster in the throat.
This Mesokirkos is where during the toning of the ORB, the 'B' closes the mouth and ends the word
, as the purpose of the exercise is quiessence. The Glossaster can be performed here with or without the tone, and allows you to focus upon loosening the tongue and softening the mouth and becomes one of the cues to a re-centring of oneself in posture and the relaxation of the face.
The Glossaster performed with the downward Aster allows the 4 upper points of the pentagram (not shown here), to be a proprioceptive link to the jowls (SI 19) and beneath the eyes (St 2), for the purpose of relaxing the face. The lower point leads to the throat and the Cervical Aster. This all results in the Glossaster being an instigator of facial relaxation and better head posture, as well as a meditation and centring of consciousness.
The Glossaster can be like a smaller cog driving the bigger one of the Cervical Aster below it, as a means of straightening the neck and achieving good head posture. It can also simultaneously drive the Sacral Aster with all 3 drawing point down pentagrams. This 3 movement progression can continue to the attention of the soles of the feet with their contact with Earth and the sensation of gravity. The 3 inner leg meridians then rise from there to their meeting at the Lower Mirror's Mesokirkos, the 'O' and the re-beginning of the ORB within the Mirrors.
