Whenever you calm yourself and enter the present, you enter from a non-present state. This transition will be continuing something which survives as a state of tension which needs relaxing.
There is always a correction of posture necessary after entering the present. This relaxation will also change the breath rhythm. This whole process is ORB. Observe, Release, Believe or Observing Relaxed Breathing. Observing Relaxed Breathing is being love. Being love is believing—literally.
ORB should be repeated throughout the day. It provides the cue for meditation, the catalyst to relax, and the abandonment into grace: Observe to centre the mind; Release the tensions of the previous moments together with calm breathing; Believe that this is all that is necessary, and that this is a state of love.
The saying of ORB (with the abrupt stop at the end as described here) will allow an instant reset into quietude due to the ingrained philosophy and practice. Everything that is needed is within this short word.

Observe

The core self has no character, no individuality, it is the same in everyone and therefore it is everyone. Everyone has an over-mind where we can see ourselves with our over-eye. The over-eye is the over-mind that sees the I and is detached from the involvement. It sees a child of nature and the universe unfolding in the divine. It sees from the perspective of the One Story: the universe or God; the divine observer.
We are each the manifestation of God, and every one of us is a god on this planet. I think everyone knows this deep down but has to hide it from the other 'gods' in fear of ridicule or just a sheer incapability of being able to communicate it. The meaning of our lives must surely be to realise ourselves.
The true game is the monitoring of oneself. Consciousness is the reason for our being, the feeding of the consciousness by sensory information to construct concepts of it, is the game that we play. This is the core game, and the centre to turn to. Centre into monitoring oneself. Observe. That is all you need to do; just about everything else is running on an automatic sub-routine.
Allowing it to happen is achieved by accepting what is happening. Observing it as it is happening, without hindering what is happening. This is the point of a detached consciousness, a stillness of mind amidst the movement; it is an acceptance of the flow of life, which can be called love. You have to believe, to be love, and that means trusting the universe. This is what faith in God is; this is what is meant by 'God is love'.

There is a sound that one can hear — at the limit of audibility — which is a high pitched tone, randomly varying to some degree, and is possibly produced by the sphenoid sinus or is produced within the ear itself, or within the mind alone; and this sound is continuous, but not to the awareness. It is distinctly different to tinnitus sounds, but within the same range of frequency. But this sound has probably always been there and is a base part of us, a part of us that is pure and therefore divine. It has been there underneath the whole time, a link to the divine within us. It is there when there are no thoughts in the stillness of deep sleep, it is a core anchor to a part which is truly independent of anything else going on. A sanctuary.
By tuning into this sound and meditating on it, a practice of focusing and silencing the mind upon the divine is achieved. The straining to hear, produces a clearing of the mind and a centring due to the necessary focusing. The addition of white noise will accentuate the volume. When I went to Spain I was surprised to find that the note had changed, but returned to its familiar note upon return to the UK, so it wasn't the altitude from the plane flight. I wonder if the planets latitude is involved.
It is stronger in my right ear, and a different sound in my left. There are of course many sounds within this compass to investigate, but this sound is special and unmistakable. It is a holy sound and allows me to enter a holy place when I observe it.

Release

Whatever is being done, it can be done better by relaxing more. Whatever it is that you are doing, by relaxing more you will enjoy it more, be more efficient, more skilful, more productful, etc. There is no excuse to not be more aware of relaxation and making it a prime conscious direction and our point to focus on. It is your true state and your accord with nature, bringing with it your highest self.
I wonder if we can ever be fully relaxed, and if there is a point that you can get to where you can say that there is no more? It seems as if there is always greater and deeper relaxation to go to, until we are no longer here.
The greatest sensation is the greatest awareness, the greatest consciousness, the greatest relaxation; trust, abandonment to the way; just observing; deeper and deeper into relaxation, letting the universe take its way. It is letting go. Ultimately, letting go big time. Entheogen.
Focusing inwards is infinite. There is no end to the discovery. An infinite journey of exploration by relaxation. The greater sensation is the lesser known sensation, which has to be found and uncovered by observing.
Relaxation will improve anything you are doing. There is no limit to how relaxed you can become as it is an ever receding goal; therefore you can always know that you can relax a little bit more and your life will improve.
Good posture begins with relaxation, and can only be achieved with it. Graciousness is epitomized by relaxation because it is an absolute abandonment to the way and is true faith and trust in the divine.

Believe

Here we are in the divine maze, where whichever way we go, ends here. There is only here, with silly stories overlaid it, pretending past and future.
Just trust that the past has been what it has been, and the future will be what it will be. It's all happening in its ordained time and sequence.
The rungs to allow yourself to be pulled up are all perfectly positioned and timed. The universe will turn itself inside out to provide the next stepping stone under your foot as you fall forwards. All you have to do is walk your path.
Every life is perfect; it is only a story which paints it in a bad way. Every experience is the universe existing — it couldn't have got to this without it being good, and we are part of that good way.
All we have to do is breathe and relax and we will be in a state of love and we will be observing this wonderful being. Anything else is really just commentary.
