The Gate is the symbol to use for opening a portal to a better you. The Gate is what we pass through to release our potential and set us free.
Prepare yourself at the Gate.
As we enter through the Gate we have focus and lucidity.
It is now we awake.
This is the gateway to freedom.
This is the first of the conjoined Penters and is the gateway to the other symbols. You go through the Gate to get to any of the other symbols. It both leads to the separating of the Penters in the opening of the Gate in which they can be performed singularly, and the closing of the Gate for security and sealing. The Gate is at the crossroads to the Loom, the Mirror, the Open Gate and the Closed Gate or Seal (Deka).

By linking two Penters together to form the Gate, two paths are joined into one, allowing the synchronizing of the left and right sides of the body and the balancing of the hemispheres of the brain. As the Penter is the base for the Altar of Megak—which is used for the summoning of ORBIT—the Gate has the function of continuing the meditation into an integration of both sides of you; connecting your spiritual and physical selves, your conscious and sub-conscious, and combining them into one. This is a composition of you, to give you the integrity of being calm and collected, to fill your space and be whole.
The physical motion of the performing also produces a synaesthesia in mental sound that accompanies the pattern and which can be used like a song, possibly with meaningful words added to be used as an affirmation or philosophical titbit, or an entering into a consciousness mode or other magic. Or to perform a pure practice without any mental associations and so allow a natural unaffected journey into whatever the cosmic geometry reveals. A continuous toning using an in and out breath through the nose, will dampen any mental interference and cleanse the way.
The Gate is the first of the dual Penter configurations to practice and because of this, it is the thing that will mould you as it sets you off on your journey. The synchronising of chirality and integration of the brains hemispheres is the nourishment that it provides for your growth and prosperity.
It provides the preparation for the visualizing and entrained thought to come. A centring of action; a silencing of thoughts; an entrainment into focus. Also for a correction of posture; an awareness of breath; and the ultimate relaxation and abandonment into the divine as the hypnotic action of the sacred geometry spiritually transcends you.
Tracing the form of the Gate whilst in this state of preparation, makes the Gate become the symbol to associate with composure, stability and balance, which in turn gives us confidence and security. This is the gateway to our realization where we take control to open our new path. This is what we pass through to release our potential and set us free.

As much as money is anathema to me, it is impossible to be a part of society and not be reliant upon it, and therefore to have security you need to have money. Just don't let it take up most of your life to get it, because you will have forgotten why by the time you get it and you will have got lost and will never find your way back again.
The Open Gate
The Gate to riches is the Open Gate. Open the Gate to open oneself to divine providence. Separate the Penters to unleash yourself and use the symbolism of this freedom to represent the openness necessary to attract the abundance that the universe regards as being quite normal and realistic. The action and the intent produces an attitude that is conducive to being open to receiving what you desire, releasing mental inhibitions that may be blocking the thing you want.
Money is always moving around; it is always just circulating, and opening the Gate with the circling of the arms on either side of you in this pattern, represents this seemingly chaotic dance and encourages a state of mind that will resonate with drawing it towards you, and let it in.
The open Gate is a good exercise anyway, but with money being its associated yoke, it has a good catalyst for being performed a lot. Dragonfly style is like whirring the money around, while the Hawk style collects it all and funnels it into your possession.
As fun as all these magick techniques are, it could be that the Gate will give you riches just by it being one of the foundational exercises that create a fuller integration with the world, and a spiritually open conduit for any potential mergers. It is after all, always just whatever story you can write around the synchronicities of events and the unique perspective acquired from your position within it all. So create a good story and just have fun.

Although the Gate can be performed at any speed, if it could be performed at the high speed of eight circles a second (8Hz), called the Geight, it could be used as an Earth trance inducing ritual. By inducing the alpha/theta boundary brainwave frequency of 8Hz in the performance, a brainwave entrainment could be activated leading to a state of consciousness conducive to a particular type of magick. This is a special frequency of the Earth known as a Schumann resonance, and by synchronising with it we can produce a link to Gaia consciousness.

The Gateway is also a portal to security. Secure the Gate and have the freedom found from it that is gained by moving through it. The Gate provides protection and the necessary security for your path. Fasten the Gate behind you to have confidence. Close the Gate to be secure.
The Closed Gate or Seal, is where the work done with the Gate is reinforced and consolidated and the process is sealed. This is the finishing and finalizing and brings security and absolution.
The Closed Gate is the Seal of perfection, the symbol for the end of making.
This superposition of Penters lends itself to reinforcing something, the chiral crossings blending left and right sides of the brain to neurally inculcate a paradigm and consolidate the affirmations.
It is found within the Sphere of Pentegraph in orthographic view if the orb is looked at from above, with the bottom Penter being reversed to the top Penter producing this configuration. It cannot therefore be performed within the orb, but has to be done outside of it. It therefore has the very nature of transcendence. It can symbolise the opposites and furthest parts from one another, being unified into one. The whole condensed; a perspective from infinity.

The means for an individual in society to be secure, is to have an ego that gets them through it. But this safety net that we build to help us can also be the same net that entangles us and drowns us. Being free of this limiting ego is what we find on the other side of the Gate. A releasing from subservience and clinging to conformity, to an independence and absolution, where we are absolved of the suffering that is brought about by caring of what others think of us, and we can let go and be free.
To go through the Gate means to transcend any need for security and comfort; this is its point. This is the place of the Gate along the path; achieving it (doing it; going through it), is the doorway to the next level. When you pass through the Gate, you transcend all anxiety by being utterly free. Care free; secure. The Closed Gate signifies this security.
The word ‘secure’ consists of ‘se’ which means ‘free from’, and ‘cure’ which means ‘care’: free from care; care free. Leave all your cares at the Gate. Abandon to it with faith, be confident and free.
To be secure, to be free from care, is to be in a state of love; justified; blessed; in grace; divinely protected; a child of nature with the confidence and fearlessness that goes with that. This is a gateway to heaven.
