The Mirrorway

The Mirror

Beyond the Closed Gate lies the Mirror Way. The Mirror and the Loom are hidden and are not to be found in the Pentegraph Orb. This is going inside the geometry, turning it inside out; a mirror reality.

The Mirror's configuration is inverse to the Gate, like going into a mirror. We are now both inside the geometry and outside of it, in the place where we can create our reality how we want to see it. In the Mirror we see a reflection of ourselves as we want to be.

At the Gate we prepare ourselves; at the Mirror we compose ourselves. At the Mirror we see ourselves as who we want to be, the self-image we want to have. A fostered vision of capabilities and attributes we wish to possess. This is where we can forge ourselves into being the person who we want to be, not the person that others have demeaned us to be in their image and which our ego sidetracks us into complying with.

It is the motion that is the carrier of the message in the performances of Megâk, and in the Mirror the movement is associated with ego and self-forming. The peculiar sensation produced by this action becomes the feeling that is reinforced with the desired self-concept to produce the neural conditioning to effect change.

You look at yourself in the Mirror. You use the pattern to enforce aspects of self-change. Construct yourself in the Mirror. Focus upon an image of yourself which embodies the person you want to be.

The symbols of Pentegraph divide themselves into two groups. The Mirror Way is the group that has the Penters form together in the opposite way to how they do in the Pentegraph Orb. In the Mirror, the rotation of eights within the Penter's are performed in the opposite direction and the left side is one circle ahead of the right.

The inversing of the Penters creates the Loom and the Mirror, with the Mirror being the opposite to the Gate. The performance is reversed with the left hand tracing the right Penter, and vice versa. It is at the Loom that the cross-over takes place.

As the two comprising Penters move together to overlap one another, their continuation produces the configurations of the Gate, the Deka (Closed Gate), the Loom and the Mirror respectively, as demonstrated above and below.

The Mirror is not found within the Pentegraph Orb because it is only possible with two orbs. The Mirrorway is the intersection of the two worlds. The two worlds join mirrored, with the Mesokirkos forming the join, with both Penters curving away from each other, as can be seen below with interaction.

The Mirror therefore shows a transcended version of you in the opposite Penter, the natural extension into another dimension, the yin yang of completion.

The Mirror

The Mirror provides the apparatus to help ourselves to become who we want to be. This is the following of our true path and the creating of our true selves. We can't necessarily change what happens, but we can change our reaction to what does and with it our experience, and with that our future responses. This is all that matters and is the base truth at the core of our existence. Other peoples view of you is their illusion, as the reality always lies deep within oneself and only you can truly know you.

The Upright Mirror (above), is used for fashioning the personal self, while the horizontal format is more for you in your personal environment, and is broader in scope and usually includes the society within which we are part. It is always at the centre, at the Mesokirkos, where the focus is centred and the imprinting is crystallized. The dual rotating circles in the centre of the Mirror allow a swapping of hands for the top and bottom Penters, and so allow an expansion of the journey to represent some detail in our new story that is being prepared.

The upper Penter can represent the higher self we want to release and the dance created by both Penters represents the integration that is being asked. It is not a case of replacing a part of ourselves with something better. We are beautiful as we are, we do not want to completely banish ourselves, we want to increase ourselves. The merging of the old with the new, exchanging Penters with the hands to dislodge the ingrained lesser self and release a new self. Ultimately we just want to love ourselves as we are, but also extend ourselves in a transcendence of our habitual path.

The concentration used while performing the Mirror, together with the using of both hands simultaneously, reinforces the mental affirmation or paradigm that is being created during the process. But it is possible to only be looking at the Mirror during the affirmation process, and leave out the hands or fingers traversing of the portal, and still achieve the result. The Upright Mirror can also be used to find one's self, which really is necessary before you ask for anything for your self. This is further investigated in the Mirrors of Megâk.

The question "who am I?", will ultimately lead you to realise that it is the wrong question, because it will always lead you to the realisation that there isn't any "I", because the "who" has to be relative to others, and the real you doesn't exist relative to anyone; that is the society in operation. In the divine, there aren't any others, and therefore there isn't any "who you are". You are absolute. You are not relative to any other. You are without comparison. Without any "who" and with no "I", all that is left is the "am"; all there is, is to be. In that being lies the things to be asked for, and grace and freedom from worry, and love are the best things that meld with that self.

The neurological strengthening that occurs with the combination of physical action and mental effort, is the path that produces the strongest result. There is no magick at the Mirror without strong focus. The Mirror can also be the apparatus to achieve strong focus and be the wish to focus upon.

Half way through the Mirror reveals the Magick Circle in the centre, which was premonitioned to me in a hypnopompic vision. The rotating of the centre is the significant aspect of the Mirror, and is unique among the Pentegraph symbols for being able to produce this configuration.

The centre of the Mirror is the core circle which represents the core of yourself. This is the place where the true foundation of your ego can be concentrated upon and merged into your true self.

The asynchronous performance known as Dragonfly usually has one hand being one circle ahead of the other, but in this configuration the offset is an advancement of five circles (it taking ten circles to complete a Penter). Consequently this is half way through the mirror and represents the intersection between how things are and how things could be. This is the place of crossing over as was revealed to me in my vision which initiated an OBE. The treasure is to be found by passing through the very centre.

The Practice

Strongly grasp the concept of what you want to be, while saying the words with conviction whilst performing the Mirror. Drill it in with repetition and yoking until you believe it. This is the magick portal. Say "I am" when the mental concept is achieved; this is more important even than the word to be spoken. Say it before and after the affirmation. “I am” what “I am”. “I am” who “I am”.

But the Mirror should not be so much about who you want to be, but rather about who you already are but want to release. You are who you are, and who you think anyone else is, is a fiction of your imagination, just as you are in theirs. If you want to be like someone else, you need to realise that what you see in them isn't really their reality, and so why want to be something which isn't true or actually even possible to be. You can only ever be 100% of your self, and no 100% human being can be more than any other; only different. Unlocking your true self is the function of the Mirror. Seeing who you really are and becoming that by being that. That is the most that you can become.

There are a multitude of aspects which become who you are by familiarity and repetition, and it is the balance of these aspects which you can change to become the person you know is there, but has become downtrodden by society and the fiction of other peoples opinion. But it isn't to someone else that you want to become, it is to yourself. It isn't something to prove to others — that is the ego and belongs to society, and it is the society that you need to transcend. You only have to be the real you, to you.

We can't all be who we want to be to others; there has to be a balance. There isn't room for us all to be the gods that we truly are. We have to keep it within us as we play our game of social subservience — and everyone is socially subservient. Any external view of you is untrue. Nobody else's opinion of you matters, it is just their fiction and it doesn't touch the real you inside.

It is all ultimately a choosing of your thoughts. This is what makes you who you are. Every other person is living in their reality, and you will never be as you are, to them. If you are aware, you may have experienced the altering of your reality to appease their concept of you. But you have to walk your own path, and by walking your path you gain confidence because you are ‘with faith’, and do it and so be it. This is how manifesting ones desires is methodised. This is how we create our reality and what and why our reality is the way it is.

See yourself as you want to be and form a strong association with it as the fabric of self-belief. To believe in oneself; to have faith in a reality. One's own reality is the only reality that matters. It is all only fiction anyway. It is only ever a story; so have a good one.
