Portals of Megâk

The Portals of Megâk are doorways to self-betterment and consist of tracing geometric paths in the dark with illuminated appendages. A magick portal is the way for the magus, the great way, the major path, the door to greatness. These symbols are portals to fixing a better life. They provide the templates for mental change and are the magickal side of Pentegraph. Their performance are portals to modes of consciousness, states of clarity, states of awareness, spiritual zones, paradigm shifts etc.

In the performances of Megâk, it is the motion that is the carrier of the message. The movement echoes in the mind producing a sort of wave upon which the thought of your desire is carried. Together with the particular sensation engendered by the pattern, the feeling and message combine into a reinforcing paradigm, creating the necessary neural pathways that cement the attributes of conformed behaviour into the character you wish to be.

The portals are more about opening the door to allow the universe in, rather than going anywhere. One description of that could be angelic possession. Allowing them to take us, is our abandoning ourselves to the way and becoming the messengers of the universe. This is letting your true self out, which is the same story as avatar realization. Letting go into the entheogenic state. This breaking out is like superman! Perhaps it only truly exists in our imaginations of our potential, or maybe it is just weakened by a social horde of over eight billion competitors in a pantheon of mundane smothering.

The word ‘summon’ etymologically means ‘beneath the mind’, and so shows that whatever is being invoked is not actually coming from any mental concept which is influenced by your worldly experiences. It is by its very nature sub-conscious. To summon something, really means you do not know what you are doing!

The word ‘conjure’ literally means ‘with authority’. Create an inner world within which to incubate a paradigm of an existence of a divinely ordained and true purpose for your life. Allow it to guide you into whatever it wants you to be rather than you putting your non-divine ideas onto it. Create the world and then abandon oneself to it. Conjure the realisation of your potential. Summon your avatar. Be your First Self.
